    The main reason raw food diets are not sustainable here in Canada is because of our lack of complete sunlight for most of the year.  Here in Vancouver, we get UVB from 15 May to 15 August, so I eat raw during this time.  The rest of the year, we don't get enough composite electrons from the combination of sunlight and raw foods, so we have to get our electron charge from adding meat/fish/eggs OR use artificial tanning to supplement the intake of UVB electrons!
