I've switched to a vegan diet for the past 3 months. But still not sure about raw vegan. I'm curious how much do you workout? like how long a day and what kind (cardio or weights) ?? Is all this transformation all due to your diet?? I mean, you would't get this transformation on a cooked vegan diet? and how many calories do you get usually per day?

Oh my gosh why do we put ourselves through all f that. I have been there as well. I went up and down twenty pounds for forty years. I even went and got shots every morning. 500 cal. Per day. I lost the weight and was so skinny. When I went off I gained it back so back I would go. All of the other weight loss ways too. Yike. I had migraines beyond measure. I'm not there yet with the body image but in my way. You are such a great role model. Should have been me years ago. This is so like my story sweetheart. Love you. Sorry to ramble. You got me going. Thank you so much. I am going to watch this everyday.

Proud of you for this amazing transformation. Being 1 year vegetarian and a vegan for about a month, I can't wait until I make to raw veganism! I have to admit giving up dairy and eggs was a HUGE step for me, but it's totally worth it.

I could just listen to you for hours ☺ You're so so inspiring and the fact that you don't live in a tropical climate makes you more…..real ? ? Btw what is the connection between back pain and hydration ? I suffer for years but never thought diet/water could have any impact on my back…..I have never heard about it.I thought it's rather technical issue.

Thanks, I empathise as I've improved and am improving with raw vegan/fruitarian dieting. When I try to go off I start blowing up like a dirigible balloon with extra weight and bloating. I have time, budget and availabilty constraints. Timewise I must work way over thirty hours and still have to juggle bills in part to be able to afford fresh organic produce. Budgetwise medical insurance won't cover the comprehensive proven plan that my medical doctor uses that has done things like patch up my leaky gut and have guidance to reverse prediabetes not just treat it the orthodox way. Now I need to work on my second job more to budget moving to my new job as the doctor says njghtshift is not a good idea at this time. Then, it's hard to find a variety of fresh produce. Others hace told me they'd like to, but really can't afford to optimize their well being like this. Others won't seriously look at the research and don't think it makes much of a difference which looses social respect. I'll keep trying.

I'm 15 and I lost over 40lbs in a few months and then recently I went Vegetarian but I'm wanting to go vegan and then raw vegan. I eat about 1000 calories at the most daily but I have trouble eating that much because I get full really easily. Could you please give some advice? (I eat low calories and mainly fruits and vegetables)

woahh.. congratulations.. youre so tough. As you get re-hydrated, you probably wont need glasses. My eyesight started regenerating as I started eating more water foods. I realized I was so dehydrated that my body was pulling water from my eyes most likely. Everything regenerates I believe. I learnt my glasses were stopping my eyesight from strengthening too.. kinda like crutches. But if you love them, then theres nothing wrong with rockin them 🙂 congrats

OMG! I can relate trying this way & that way of eating & supplementing. I've spent so much money on supplements & I've tried soooo many different "diets" so to speak. Thank you again for sharing your story! I don't feel so alone.

What a nightmare you've been through! This sounds surprisingly familiar. I have spent thousands of dollars on supplements and herbs. You suffered from a lot of my secondary problems,(I have a more serious disease)–like the UTIs, candida, PMS, etc. How stressful it is to try and fail, try and fail. We can't be the only ones. Thanks for posting this.

wow, it's like God placed this story in front of me at the perfect time. I'm about to embark on a juice feast in the coming weeks and I just went to the doctor today to get my blood levels checked to monitor before and after going Raw. and I was complaining about the same symptoms. I'm freezing cold all the time. of course the doctors didn't really have an answer for that. I figured it was my metabolism as well because some days i eat abundantly on my plant based diet and other days I just don't consume enough calories. so I'm sure I'm wreaking havoc on my metabolism. I can relate so much to your before weight as well. I hold on to water like a camel and I can't wait to get rid of the cellulite and everything that has been stagnated in my body. Thank you so much for this video!

I really related to your health journey story. I have been on and off raw food diets for over 35 years. It took me a long time to figure out what I was doing wrong. Of course, 35 years ago there was not as much information as there is now on the subject and no real support system, outside of a few raw books that were available at the time. I got to talk to Dr. Ann Wigmore briefly over the phone once, received a short note from the author of "Survival into the 21st century", and a couple of letters from Johnny Lovewisdom, who lived in Equator. So pretty much on my own and learned through trial and error and I'm still learning from my own experiences and now from the experiences of those here on you tube which is a real blessing for those just starting out on this path.

This video was JUST what I needed to hear. Not only did I have all of the symptoms you talked about, but I had a similar journey and thought process (and similar before pics) as I transitioned 7 weeks ago. While I am not completely raw, I keep it at least 50% raw and it began as a 30 day test period… I know this will be my diet for life. Thank you so much for sharing your story, the inspiration is off the charts.
