How My Eyes Changed on a Raw Food Diet

You’ve probably heard of Iridology, a scientific field which teaches that each part of your body and organs is reflected in your eyes. It’s a bit like reflexology, where your body is mapped out on your foot, only this is in your eyes. Using iridology, you can see if there are internal problems. If your body and colon is clogged up with toxins like heavy metals, overgrowth of candida etc. then this will be reflected in your eyes; you’ll see different coloured spots of different sizes, and the white area will be full of red lines. Also the entire eye will look dull and lifeless because your body doesn’t have life, and your eyes won’t have that special sparkle. If you are interested and would like to learn more about what your eyes are reflecting internally, you should consider visiting a professional iridologist.

They say our eyes are the windows to our soul. I believe this is true. When you feel cleaner and more beautiful on the inside, your inner beauty shines through your soul and through your eyes.

So if you look in the mirror and you don’t see that shine or that clarity in your eyes anymore, chances are your body and your colon need a good clean out. You do this by simply choosing to nourish your cells with fruit and vegetables, with a high emphasis on raw living foods. These foods will literally give your internal organs a bath and allow your body the chance to naturally detoxify and rid itself of excess toxins. Focus on water-rich, hydrating fruits like melons, berries, mangoes, papayas and mineral-rich leafy greens like arugula, spinach, kale and cos lettuce. Drink nutrient-dense fresh juices with cucumber, celery, pineapple, oranges and apples. Get your fat source from avocados and soaked nuts and seeds.

If want to have eyes that glow, eyes that are clear and bright, if you want to feel beautiful on the inside and radiate on the outside, then you need to ensure you are clean on the inside so that this is reflected through your eyes.

Olivia, your eyes are beautiful. I am just starting my journey into the raw food life, for different reasons, but your video made me think. My eyes have bothered me for the last several months very much, because they are so red. I assumed because I didn't get enough sleep (I'm a caregiver and on call 24/7). I know I am not healthy, even being a vegetarian, my food is not clean enough, and I still eat some processed food. I knew about reflexology, but never realized that eyes can tell a story too. I am excited to see if it makes a difference for me – I will be photographing on a schedule to document progress now I think. Thank you 🙂

My eyes are very reflective mirror like so I'm not sure if my eyes are dark brown or black…..I havent tried a raw vegan diet yet I'm in the process of transitioning into a vegan at the moment but can't wait to try it out 🙂

Actually, my husbands brown eyes turned lighter and clearer in color when we started to eat vegan and clean. While I don't believe brown eyes would turn blue on ANY given day, even the brown eyes can get brighter and "cleaner" looking once somebody detoxes and adopts a healthier diet and lifestyle.

Actually my sister went to the dr suffering from being iron deficient with b-12 deficiency. No joke. I commented on how white her eyes were. The dr said it's the telltale sign of be anemic. Low iron saturation. It's not healthy not to see any blood vessels in your eyes. These are the facts. If your eyes are blazing white your having an issue.

Yes, I have definitely noticed a difference in people's eyes that eat a lot of raw and that are healthy and vibrant in general and not nec all raw. I think this also has to do with our bodies being temples and our soul can anchor in more deeply, we are more HERE and present when taking care of ourselves and this shows through the eyes! In my humble opinion 😉
